Work Hard, Play Hard
If I had to create a bumper sticker that modeled my philosophy for life, it would be, "Work hard, Play hard." This is one motto that not only I go by, but what others see in me. I go to school three times a week, and I work at least thirty hours a week. Most of the time I am exhausted. Growing up my mother taught me that the harder you work, the more fun you make yourself have. After working, studying, and getting to class every day, I need some type of relief that can put a smile on my face and get me into a better mood. I feel that the harder you work on something the better outcome you will get in the end. Having fun everyday makes working worth your time, this is why my bumper sticker would be, "Work hard, Play hard."

Yes i agree, I am currently a student in high school and english here at fcc. I also work around 35 hours a week. As you said ur self, its exhausting! I believe the harder you work, the more accomplished you will feel, which feeling accomplished will better your out look in life! but you should always have some time for fun! :)

ReplyDeleteYup, there you go. Working hard and getting everything done, can be a hassle, but in the end, you feel better about your self, and thats all that matters.

ReplyDeleteMy dad always told me this. Study when you need to study, but also play when you have time to play. That way you can have meaningful life.

ReplyDeleteI couldnt agree with you more!!!! I go to school full time, and work full time at night.... and have another job on the weekend. It is so exhausing!!! But in the end, all of my hard work will pay off. Love your bumper sticker!

I totally agree with you Sarah! I feel you on the going to school and working at the same time... most days i'm exhausted too. But, I usually just try to look forward to the weekends! Great quote!
ReplyDeleteMe too! Working and going to school drains the energy out of me and most people as well. But we always have to have a good sense of balance of work and fun in order to get the best out of ourselves and life. Good quote!
